2012... oh what a year!

Holy cow!! I cannot believe that this year is pretty much over. I am so grateful for all of the lessons I have learned from this year. As I was looking over what has happened, I can't say I have a favorite. I made so many memories this year and I feel so happy! This year has shown me many great and wonderful things. As time goes by and as I get older, I know that times seems to quicken and there is never enough of it. However, I have found to love life and live it to it's fullest. I am human so of course I make mistakes, but I will not let those bring me down. If anything, this year I have never been happier about how things have turned out. I am a firm believer that Heavenly Father has had a huge part in how my life is now. Without the gospel in my life or having such a close relationship with my Savior, I would be a lost soul. Many prayers have been answered and I have such a strong testimony in the gospel, it has changed me... for the better. For my last post of the year, I

Christmas break and such!

Friends, family, and bloggers! I know I am late but I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! So many things have happened and if you know me, I am going to do my famous bullet point list! Lately I have been in the best mood and I can't help but let others see it, there isn't just one reason why I am happy, there are LOTS!! Ok... here goes..... -School ended and finals came and went. I was very relieved when I no longer had to worry about this semester. It wasn't hard but it sure seemed long. I studied and studied for all of my finals and it sure paid off. I was able to get an A in three of my classes and a almost a A- but it was a B+ in my other class. I am very happy! Woot Woot! I can finally say I have four semesters left until I am able to get my Bachelors and about three and a half until I can become CHES certified, how awesome is that? As I look back, I know that things are happening the way they are because this is where I am meant to be! He

That time of year!

It is Christmastime again! I sure do love Christmas, it truly is the best time of year! I love it so much! There are so many things that we can do, and I hope to do as many thing as I can! The first day of December came and went, but it sure was fun! After a long shift at work, I helped my family finish putting up the Christmas decorations, our house is now ready. Later that night Kurt and Amber, Chris, Kelsey, Kenton, Spencer and myself had pizza and went to Temple Square to see the lights. It sure was busy, but I love how it is so popular, let's people know about the gospel. While we were there, three people got engaged ha it was funny, and almost predictable! Well anyway, I love the temple and everything that goes along with it. (Kenton even did great with his first trip to the temple!)                 Oh Christmas I love you!

Christmas wreath!!

Hey Friends!!! I was in a crafty mood this past weekend... so of course I made something!! First of all, I hit a killer sale at Michael's! I'll just say that I got all of my items for less than $8! I was very proud of myself... considering a thing of 100 sheets of paper originally cost $12, so I basically got the paper for free! I had a coupon and was able to stack that on top of all of the great sales! Anyway... I made this wreath that I am very very proud of! Supplies: 2 sheets of red card stock 2 sheets of green card stock Pearl stickers Stamp pads Tape Foam (one big piece) Ribbon How to: I traced stars on the paper, then I drew lines on the back from each point to the opposite side. Taking a ruler I folded the stars so that it came to a point. Then I rubbed a stamp pad over the stars, then I assembled them together on the piece of foam. It kinda looks like a sugar cookie! I love it! (The star idea I found on Pinterest)       Warning.... more Chris

I love my job and all of my co-workers at South Jordan Fitness and Aquatics. I know a lot of you can say this but I am pretty sure my co-workers are the best of them all! To all of our inside joke, secrets we keep, to when we have each other's back in all things. I am so lucky to have the job I have, I look forward to it every time I work, not only to get hours but because of the friendships I have made and will continue to make. So to all my lovely co-workers, here is a shout out to you... Cierra Bell and the plans we make and the stories we tell, Corinne Cowdell and her willingness to do things, Emary Knudsen and her happy attitude, Sierra Niels

A little bit of Joy!!

Ok, friends, just a head's up, this post is a bit religious! So I won't be offended if you don't read it, but then again, feel free to spread it and read it over and over! I love the gospel and it is a huge part of my life. I truly know that without it in my life, I would not be the person who I am today. It helps me solve my problems, and most of all it brings me joy and happiness! So for this blog I am simply bearing my testimony that the church is true and that Christ lives! (Now would be the part to stop reading if you don't want to hear more) I have had many opportunities recently that have proved to me that the gospel is true. Nothing big like all of the prophets of old, but just little things. Time and time again when I am down or I feel like nothing is working out, I realized that I have not said my prayers for the day or even read my scriptures. As soon as I do those little things, I can feel my energy swell my body. I can literally feel the Savior put his ar

Fall Break 2012

Friends! I had a very fun week! This past week was Fall Break and boy did I enjoy it! I would love to share what I did to try and entertain myself! I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do for this week, I had made no real big plans and only a few things I was really looking forward to. By the end of the week, I was surprised how much I did and how much fun I had! Then again, there were plenty of times that I should have caught up on homework, but the only thing I did for school was a job shadow and read some of a book. Ready! Set! Fall Break! Monday: Today I had a doctor's appointment with my new doctor. One thing about getting new insurances is that you have to start all over with doctors and such. It was nice getting to now my new doctor, it was been a while since I have had a woman as a doctor, I like it! My blood pressure was very good! 112/70 woot woot! I feel so great! I also found out that I weigh less than I do than what I have on my driver's license, wow!

The lovely October

Friends! It is October! I love the season of fall and all of the activities that come with it! First of all I would like to say what I have been up to this past week, it was a great week, so I would love to share! (It is more like two weeks) The Monday after the baby shower, I turned in a pretty big part of my paper for my Program design class. I was such a procrastinator for this paper and put if off. At first this paper was hard to write but once I got writing it and started designing my program, it all came together, I can only hope that my professor thinks the same! Yay for papers, well programs! These past two weeks I was able to go to the Temple a few times. Each time I went, a huge blanket of peace embraced me. I love the feeling when I go there, it is of peace, love, and happiness! I know without a doubt that the gospel is true and that God lives, for not only one of my questions were answered, but all of them. I know that because they were answered so quickly they must be
