Sugar and Spice Baby Shower

I had the lovely opportunity to throw a baby shower with my oldest sister Lindsey for my twinner Kelsey. We decided to go with the theme of "Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice." It was so much fun and I'll be honest made me super baby hungry! I am so excited to become an Aunt again, and even more excited to meet baby Mia. Yay for baby girls! Here are some highlights from the shower, it really did turn out super cute! We had a headband making station to add to this little girl's SPARKLE! So no matter where she goes she will leave a little sparkle! All of the headbands turned out so different and so cute!  I had so much fun making a fabric garland (and it totally matches Mia's bedding made by Nana Cunningham). It has floral fabric, gold triangle fabric, lilac fabric, gold glitter ribbon, gold and cream polka-dot fabric. It turned out so cute, I am quite proud (not to sound conceited or anything).  For food we wanted to stick with the &qu

One Year Down, Forever to Go!

Happy Anniversary Love! I can't believe it has been a whole year since we were married. I have looked back on who we were when we got married and who we have become and I love it. October 9, 2014 will always be my favorite day (and yes I know I will probably say that when I have children but...), because it was a start of a new adventure. Let's go down memory lane shall we? We were driving home from one of our date nights and Spencer was being nervously quiet. He would not let go of my hand and he would not let a word slip out. H

A Weekend in Grand Junction, Colorado!

I had the wonderful opportunity to go visit my bestie Cierra Larsen in the beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado. I was so excited to have a little get away, but sad it ended so quickly. I left early from work and drove down on Friday night. I was a little nervous because I have never driven to Colorado, but it was a pretty quick drive. My GPS kept me company as did my music. Before I knew it, I had arrived. It only took me just over 4 hours to arrive there ( I was shocked!). After I got there Cierra and her roommate Alyssa, took me to a Chinese restaurant, it was quite tasty! After, a quick trip to Walmart to get some things for our run on Saturday made me feel just at home. I swear we spent the entire night talking and catching up (just where we left as, as best friends always do!) The next morning came too early! We ran in a Superhero 5K around the Colorado Mesa University. Guys I am not a runner at all. I haven't run in a very long time, and I was quite proud of myself for even
