Oh! What a Night!

Since I have no life during the week, besides school, I always look forward to the weekend. I usually have most of my fun with my friends on the weekends, which are quite enjoyable. So this past weekend, was super fun! I was able to go to a Zumba party with my cousin Jamee, who is an awesome instructor by the way! It was disco themed, and super fun! I learned some new moves and burned so many calories, and felt great afterward! Doing Zumba has made me feel so confident about myself, and keep off the weight. Ha love it!! I am minoring in Nutrition, and because of this I guess you can say I am now a little bit of a nerd about what I eat now... I have come to learn steamed broccoli with chicken and rice. MMmmm so good. Also, I tried an experiment on myself with food. I truly believe that food alters the way we think and act and do things. Anyway... broccoli, apples, bananas, blueberries, rice, and chicken, are great foods to help, especially with memory. Broccoli, has fiber, iron, and

Trying to be crafty again....

Well since I have joined Pinterest, I have seen so many crafts that I want to try. So, I decided to take a few things that I have seen and combined them together. I had fun doing this, and it made me want to become crafty again, since it has been a little bit since I have crafted. So to make this rather simple craft, you need: -Cardboard letter (of your choosing) (I got mine at Hobby Lobby for $2.50) -Dot Confetti (Hobby Lobby $2.00) There was a whole bunch of colors, I got a combo of black and white with different sizes -Hot glue or any type of glue, (I used a glue stick) -Lacquer spray Make a pattern with the dots if you have more than one color (I tried doing a checker board, didn't really work like that but it looks awesome). Make sure you glue each dot on separately, they will stay on better then putting a strip of glue down. Once you have covered the amount of letter you want to with dots, spray the lacquer on the help keep the confetti on, and it even adds a little

A little bit of Fun!!

Friends!! How are you! Much has happened since the last post, but everything good. So no worries!! After a little bit of peer pressure, I finally joined Pinterest... holy cow, I am in love. What little time I have left over, I find myself pinning, oh dear, what are we going to do? Anyway- The past few weeks, I have been on stress mode, yes some of it has been good stress, but sometimes, I had the stress that makes you cry. What fun it has been trying to overcome this, I have found new ways on how to relax, one thing is just hope. Hope for the best, for it is always around some corner. Even if things go the way you weren't expecting, the best thing you need is in fact hope! Let me share some good news... I officially have six more semesters until I receive my Bachelor's at the University of Utah! When people ask me what my major is, I think it is funny when I see their reaction. So everyone hold your breath, it is- Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Community a
