It's a New Year... 2012!!

Happy New Year! I hope Everyone had a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR! This year I celebrated it with my family, as usual. We had lots of fun and hours of laughter with each other. The happiness filled the air and was contagious, I would never replace these nights for anything! I love my family and they truly are my life! Here is to a New Year and new opportunities. So my resolutions.... are-
-Be even more happy
-Get a toned body
-Look for a job opportunity within my career
-Save money for a fun trip
-Go to the temple every Friday
-Get a stronger testimony
-Exceed in school
-Create more fun memories
-Grow closer to my family
-Have more friends
-Live life to its fullest, because life is an adventure!!
Well I could go one but these are some of my main ones. I can't wait for this year, because so many things are going to happen, so many wonderful things! I can't help but smile at the things that have happened, and will happen. 2011 was a tough year for my family and many hard things happened, but those challenges have made me strong and who I am today! I would never trade what happened last year for anything. I know without a doubt that this year will be 100 times better! ha Bring it on 2012

What being in college has taught me

I know I have been terrible at writing on my blog the past couple of months. School has engulfed my attention and honestly blogging has been the last on my priority list. I wanted to write blog about my college experience... since I graduate in 53 days. I am thrilled beyond words to be this close to being done. I had know idea it would feel like this nor that it would come so soon. In just a few short months I will be able to call myself a graduate of Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Community, also being eligible to become CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) certified. Wow what a mouthful! Being in college was not like I expected, it was much more. I have been through the worst of worst and the best of best experiences. I would like to share with you what I have learned in the past four years (From beginning to end), I hope you can get a good laugh about it. To those who have yet to start college, I strongly encourage you to start thinking about going. You w...

Staying Organized with a Baby and a Budget

Happy 2019 everyone! I hope your year has started off great and I hope it continues to be wonderful! I would like to consider myself to be pretty organized. Some people may find it weird that I love to keep things tidy and have a spot for everything. I hate clutter and huge messes. Yes I know I have a baby who loves to get into everything, literally. So I have had to learn to let her be little and let there be messes. Like most people I know, I binge watched Netflix show "Tidying Up" with Marie Kondo and her KonMari Style. Although fairly organized before the show, I felt inspired to get rid of more and organize deeper. I feel SO much better when my house is clean and things are put away. Spencer always makes fun of me for this slightly OCD quality I have. As I have been taking night classes and not getting home until 9 pm I have found it easier to not want to clean up the kitchen before bed. I do it anyway. Does anyone else have to have a clean kitchen before they go to b...

One of my favorite walls

There have been times that I come home from work or other places, exhausted, frustrated, and uneasy. I have always been a home body and love the comfort I get when inside. When I was preparing to move out when I got married I dreamed of decorating my own place, of hanging my own pictures, of designing the way my furniture was set up. Since I have been married almost one year, I never realized that I have one wall in particular I love to look at. It is in my bedroom, the wall opposite of where our bed sits. I see this wall as I wake up, go to sleep, start and end my day. It's not that big of a deal, and it's actually quite bare, but there are 3 things on there that I love. The first thing is a picture of my husband and I (one that I put together with the lyrics to our first dance), on our wedding day, dancing to our song, "Breathe" by Angels and Airwaves. This picture brings back the giddy feeling of being in a room full of people and the only person I had any knowl...
